My name is Lou-Ann and am a part of a homeschool co-op (we meet in Sterling).  I currently teach preschool and we will be learning about Bees coming up - sometime between now and May.   We always like to make our lessons come alive with hands on learning and make it exciting.   Not really sure what I'm looking for but, did a search for bees near me and you came up.  Any way to see bees?  a beehive? or honey?  We were supposed to have a tour of an apiary back in August but, it fell through.  I know this is a shot in the dark but, just curious if you had any ideas :)

Thanks much!

Lou-Ann,

Thanks for contacting Loudoun Beekeepers with your request. I will contact you directly at your gmail address. This is something I have done several times and I always enjoy the experience of sharing the wonder of honey bees with children.
