Second Star Farm and Wildlife Habitat is an Aldie-based non-profit dedicated to providing equine and wildlife experiences for underrepresented, under-resourced, and at-risk youths in the community. As part of our mission, we want to foster a positive relationship with nature and promote sustainable agricultural practices. If there is a Loudoun County beekeeper out there who needs to place a few hives, we would love to host you! All we would ask is that the beekeeper be willing to potentially host one or two short educational classes for kids per year, if we can drum up interest.
